Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Cat6 and Cat6A?
Cat6 supports 1Gbps at up to 100m and 10Gbps at up to 55m. Cat6A supports 10Gbps at up to 100m and is the recommended standard for new installations.
Do you install cabling in existing buildings?
Yes. We install cabling in occupied buildings with minimal disruption, using existing conduit and cable trays where possible.
Do you provide test reports?
Yes. Every cable run is tested with a Fluke DSX cable analyser and we provide full test reports on completion, certifying compliance with TIA-568 standards.
